Now we are looking for students interested in maritime industry and engineering. If you are studying maritime industry, technology, engineering, data analytics and/ or legal or commercial compliance this might be your chance to explore your skills and knowhow in a real business case. 

Gasum is looking for fresh ideas for developing a future bunker market offering. As a leading LNG bunker market player in Northern Europe, Gasum has a profound interest in developing future talent for the maritime market by offering students an opportunity to learn about maritime emission reduction alternatives and future maritime fuels and get their views on future success factors. Requirements

• Understanding the technologies and requirements for using different fuels.
• Understanding and interest in maritime engineering and technologies.
• Understanding and interest in legal requirements regarding maritime industry. 
• Education in market research and/ or data analytics. 
• Education in maritime law.
• Creativity and out of the box thinking are always considered as plus.
• Oral and written proficiency in English.
• Team and remote working skills as all teamwork is done by online meetings.

Supporting Team

The selected team will work closely with their Main Mentor, Senior Advisor Poul Woodall and Senior Advisor Frank Kho from SeaFocus. Other expert mentors will be chosen during the project work. The team leader supporting, motivating, and guiding the Student Team is a SeaFocus Junior Consultant Dmitri Niukkanen. The team will also have contacts with the specialists from the case company Gasum to support them in the project work. 

The project participation is voluntary.

If qualified we expect strong commitment throughout the whole project, which lasts approximately three months for the students. This is an amazing opportunity to challenge yourself and widen your business network. There will also be an individual financial reward for the team members who will finalize the project based on the KPIs set and communicated at the beginning of the project. You will be invited to participate in the Great Intelligence Hunt Ball organized in October 2023.
